1) Mumbai to Ajanta- Ellora road distance: 8 hours
2) It takes around 3 hours time to view and go through Ajanta caves depending upon your technical interest in historical and archeological aspects. It may take more time in such a case. Ellora caves viewing takes around 3-5 hours also.
3) There are ample state transport buses from Aurangabad for both Ajanta and Ellora.
4) We recommend travel through train to Jalgaon/ Aurangabad and then a private car to take to both places.
5) Private rental car would attract minimum 300kms per day travel cost.
