Both the Caves remain opened from 09:00AM to 17:30PM Indian Standard Time (IST).

You will require at least 3-4 hours for normal viewing of each caves. Detailed archaeological viewing may consume your whole day. You can move out of the caves as per your wish and convenience

Both Ajanta and Ellora Caves will be opened on 07th and 08th June, 2012. There are separate sections for refreshments available in both caves
